About Me

Hello and welcome to my website!  My name is Joe and you are just a few clicks away of capturing Just Memories” of your life in print.

Memories.  This is the word that encompasses why I ventured into photography.

My fondest childhood memory includes time with my grandparents sorting through old photographs and listening to stories of the war, family vacations, and hunting trips.  My grandfather not only showed me pictures but spoke emphatically about his camera and showed me how to use it.

I kept an interest as I entered middle school as I excitedly created a pin-hole camera and developed black and white photos.

Unfortunately adult life took over and “the needed job” robbed me of my free time.  It wasn’t until I started to have a family of my own that the occasional ping of “Memories” started to resurface.

I flirted with my interest in 2002 as I started to shoot my sons’ ice hockey tournaments.  As any trained professional knows shooting pictures in an ice rink is more of science than art.  Why were my pictures all white – why were all my actions shots so blurry – and why couldn’t I zoom in that far?

This inquisitive frustration turned into a full blown passion as I embraced a love that I hadn’t really uncovered until this past year.  I pleaded with my wife to make a small fortune equipment investment as long as I kept my day job.  With much hesitation but with much support we leapt together.

I learn something new on every shoot and each session gets more and more exciting.  I still have my day job but it will be my ultimate dream to leave Corporate America behind me to become the best photographer I can be.  I strive for perfection so I will guarantee all of my work.

So with this, I ask you to allow me the honor to capture Just Memories of your life and give you the opportunity to walk down memory lane with your family.

Warmest Regards,

Joe
